Colchester, Vt. – NuHarbor Security today announced the addition of Jack Danahy as Vice President of Product and Engineering. Danahy brings over 30 years of cybersecurity industry experience and an extensive background building security technology to fuel company growth and market expansion.
Danahy is responsible for strategic solution development at NuHarbor. He will lead the product and engineering teams as they define and deliver a comprehensive unified platform of security solutions, integrating expert assessment and architecture review, ongoing active security testing, compliance readiness, threat hunting, monitoring, and incident response.
Prior to joining NuHarbor, Danahy founded and led three successful companies, each acquired by security market leaders. He has held executive leadership positions at AlertLogic, IBM, and WatchGuard and has been granted 12 patents for his work in security analysis, administration, and machine learning. Widely regarded as an industry thought leader, Danahy is frequently interviewed and published on issues driving the future of the cybersecurity market, including the evolution of security services, the growth and monetization of cyber threats, and the prioritization of outcomes over capabilities.
